Steve Oyer is a seasoned finance executive with over 40 years of business and investment experience. He is the Managing Partner of Sustainable Finance Partnerships (SFP) where he advises companies on capital transactions and business development. 

His role prior was CEO of i(x) Net Zero a publicly traded permanently capitalized holding company focused on energy transition and sustainability in the built environment. Prior to this he served as Senior Vice President at Lazard Asset Management where he led their Global Family Office Advisory Group. 

His experience includes a senior role at the Private Funds Group of Brookfield Asset Management focused on Real Assets and Renewable Investments. He serves on the Board of Borealis Foods. Borealis is a NASDAQ listed food tech company with a mission to serve growing consumer needs and tackle global food challenges by developing nutritious, sustainable, and affordable ready-to-eat meals. He was also a board member and audit chair of Salton, Inc., a designer, marketer, manufacturer, and distributor of a broad range of branded small appliances like the George Foreman Grill. 

He played an active part in the ongoing restructuring and sale of Salton. 

He was a founder of Quake Capital, an accelerator that fosters early-stage ventures led by student and faculty entrepreneurs from university ecosystems, where he still serves in an advisory capacity. His recent philanthropic efforts have been focused on serving on investment committees whose mandates include allocation of capital to both public and private markets. 

Steve is a board governance and investment committee member of The Truth Initiative, America’s largest nonprofit public health organization committed to making tobacco use and nicotine addiction a thing of the past. He served as a member of the investment committee for the Florida Atlantic University’s Foundation for a five-year term and was a founding member of the non-commercial family office initiatives at New York University and Stanford University where he continues to play a leadership role.
